Limmie & Ethel Jones Family History

Mr. Limmie Jones Sr. was born to the parentage of Mr. Tom and Mrs. Elvia Goodman Jones, on September 29, 1888, in Carthage, Texas. He lived to be 93 years old. Mrs. Ethel Walls-Jones is the daughter of the late Mr. Mike and Almedia Walls. She was born on February 19, 1888, in Panola County Texas. She lived to be 82 years old.

Pa and Ma were married in 1908 in Panola County, Texas. To this union, thirteen children were born. Eleven boys and two girls created all of us! They were married 62 years.

Herbert “Lockie” Jones

Herbert “Lockie” Jones is the last living child of Pa and Ma. He will be 97 this year, making him the oldest living Jones. Lockie and Vernon have been married for 66 years. Their anniversary is August 30th. Did you know Uncle Lockie is a twin? His twin, Hobert “Dane” Jones passed away at a young age. If you would like to know more about his twin, his siblings, mother and father, sit down and talk with him during the reunion. He is the last person of his generation and has a lot to share.
